Here we are in the first month of the new year and catnipoflife is overjoyed upon receiving the Reader Appreciation Award from Alastair. Yes, ma’am and yes, sir! I do visit Alastair on a regular basis and leave comments often, very often as a matter of fact. His posts naturally draw me into commenting on his writing, poetry, music and awesome photography. As with any award, there are rules. The “rules” for this award state that
1) catnip cannot award someone who has already been awarded. Now, that is a tough one! Some bloggers receive awards and do not display the badges plus it would take an immense amount of time to go to all my followers blogs to see who and who has not received the award. As for catnip, she was a recipient in 2012 but this is her first in 2013. I suppose it is okay to accept since it is a new year.
2) And she cannot give the award back to the person who bestowed it upon her.
With those thoughts in mind, I would like to thank all of the people who comment on my blog, but especially Alastair who honored catnip with this award. Alastair is an avid catnip visitor and his comments are always welcomed and enjoyed.

You got me I do not have this one and it is a beauty! Sometimes, I’m not sure if I’ve commented because now I get you through Google and I’m not sure if by responding to your Google post, I am responding to your site … or not! But regardless, you know I love you, your writing, you and you some more 🙂 Thank you VERY much!! I will get to this in the next couple of days. It’s going to snow tomorrow, so that might be a perfect time.
My granddaughter does not have the flu. The way it’s going, it looks like German Measles. If so, better she get it now. She’s 16, so her immunity will take her through the years when she is most likely to get pregnant. Maybe it’s a good thing after all.
YEA! So glad you are accepting…I did not think you had this one but then it is hard to know them all. Anyway, we are in a new year and I knew you had not mentioned it for 2013! Sorry about your granddaughter but as you mentioned, it may be for the best now, not later. Enjoy the snow. We leave for Jacksonville in the morning and going into 80 degree weather. I do not like the 80s. Much prefer the cooler temps. Of course, I will take the 80s any day over the 100s! BTW The comments on Google do not reflect here. 😦
