I put up the bunting and flags yesterday—I hope life is getting better in your world…thank you for the reminder of what the 4th truly represents–and that is the freedom to fly our flag high—a celebration of Liberty!!
Our flag pole collapsed some years back. It was attached to our house, not a full flag pole. I miss it. We used to fly the flag all the time. It was part of our home.
My Canadian son was born July 4th and up until he was 5 he thought the Windsor and Detroit fireworks display was for his birthday. It broke his heart when we told him the truth. Now he shares that story with his 7 year old son lol
