2013 presented itself with many ups and downs. Yet, we survived! Hubby and I are enjoying a quiet evening in celebration of all the blessings received, especially during his illness. Thank you to my virtual family for being here thoughtfully and prayerfully supporting both of us. The visits, especially the comments, have been entertaining and inspirational.
Looking forward to moving ahead in 2014! Blessings to all and Happy New Year!
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 21,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 8 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Remarkable, considering the year you’ve had. It would be remarkable for anyone, but doubly so in the face of all the challenges you’ve had to week. have a wonderful evening. We are just watching old movies and hanging out wiith the dogs, preparing for all the snow we are supposed to get in the next few days … and the below zero temps that will come with it. Brrr. Hugs and best wishes from Garry and I to you and Jim!
Happy New Year Sharla, I love the way you viewed your stats. It really puts it into perspective. Way cool my friend. 🙂
Happy New Year to you and your husband, Sharla! I wish you a great year. I spent the New Year’s eve at home with a glass of white wine and with my cat, so thankful that I still had her, considering that a week before Christmas she was near death. I asked the vet and God for a miracle and I believe I got it. This morning she came running down the hall and flew onto the bed, meowing–just like she did when she was younger and healthier. She’s 16 now.
Here’s to a great year!!
Oh, Carole! What happiness! I do miss my little Bootsie so much! She was only 4 but I feel like she was with me a lifetime! It is still difficult 😦 *tears*
What great results you had. Well done on the last, difficult year Sharla. I hope that 2014 will be much better and much healthier for both of you.
Happy New Year
