A critical tipping point for America is at our doorstep. Changes are about to be made, whether we are in agreement or not, they are inevitible. Election brings about major change: changes in government, changes in policy, changes that may or may not represent balance of power.

As part of a senior coffee clutch at a local McDonald’s our group solves the world’s problems on a daily basis. 🙂 Unfortunately we differ highly on the upcoming presidential election. It is such a fundamental error you base your vote strictly on moral issues such as abortion or gay marriage. Although the President’s stand means a lot he gets just one vote in the end. Our last two presidents were against abortion but not only did they leave abortion the law of the land they screwed up our nation with wars based on false claims of “weapons of mass destruction”. It was not worth one single American life to remove a two bit tyrant from power.
Dr. Phil claims predicting future tendencies should be based on past decisions. That’s why I’m voting again for “The Obama”. He saved our country, single handedly, in the past 4 years. He’s accomplished miracles without a single vote from the Republicans. Why do we need them if they won’t compromise on anything?
I did not vote Obama in 2008 and right now I am undecided in 2012. Debate after debate, pros and cons exist on both sides. Who’s right, who’s wrong? This one blames that one, that one blames this one. Our country is in a mess and we really don’t have a strong candidate on either side. Just my two cents. . .
yep. I hear you.
Thanks, Sedge. Just hope America wins!
HI, Sharla, thanks for the hugs, haven’t responded to that one yet, just wanted to say thanks again for moving the “Please vote” post along. Regardless of how we”feel” about issues, you are correct, it is a pivotal moment for not only Americans but for other countries that look to our country for leadership direction, and whether our current leader or future leader gets it right or wrong, (he/she-thinking future here, lol) WE the people…are the ones that need to be involved to set things back on course. That’s always how a democratic system stays free. So thank you again my friend, Penny xx
I just hope the pendulum swings for America, her land and her people!
I believe, Sharla! I believe in America. And I believe in the people of America. All of us! We are worth the believing in! Do dumb things, Yes. Make mistakes we shouldn’t, definitely. Forget what’s important sometimes, absolutely, but Sharla we are a product and a legacy of America’s yesterday, so I believe in America, with all my heart! Penny
I am fearful for America and hope the right thing happens on November 6! I like your blog style, short and sweet!
Marla
Thank you, Marla. Yes, there are grave concerns for our country. It is going to take the voice of the people, the majority – not minority, for America to come out on top! Glad you enjoy the posts:>) Sometimes I get too long-winded but really try to bait, set the hook, and capture the reader with a quick cast of the line!
