Thanks goes to Peggy Strack @Kick Back Moments for sharing this great video on her blog. Peggy is the author of A Stop in the Park, which is quickly gathering nothing but 5-star reviews. After reading her book, I have decided while it does encompass ‘a stop in the park’ it is definitely ‘a stop in the heart’! Highly recommended good reading!

Beautiful Fall video–my favorite season, except over the years in the northeast we seem to go straight for summer to winter, skipping spring and Fall–a shame as they are the best of the seaons. Peggy’s book was awesome and I am looking at her review waiting for me to type it up–no time with so many e-mails and now 50 people to post for–yikes!!

Micki, I know the feeling! I have to post a review also for it is such a wonderful book! My teacher entourage is growing, growing, growing! That makes my consultant work on the heavy end leaving my writing out in the cold! UGH!

  3. That’s absolutely extraordinary! Thanks for sharing this!

I love everything about this video. The music, stills & video are well choreographed. It all comes across as sublimely peaceful and beautiful. Autumn in the Pacific Northwest, where I now live, can also be quite stunning, if nature times it just right. Our 9 month rainy season coincides with the peak color from the foliage. I’ve been blessed to experience the season in a variety of areas throughout the United States and truly love the Fall. Thanks for sharing this post. – Bob

So glad you enjoyed the video! Peggy’s site is blogspot so I could not reblog. Commented to her I was ‘borrowing’ but with a link to her site. I have read her book, which is wonderful! It’s life…totally relatable life!

    Hi,
Thank you. I have just returned from Italy, a day ago and the video reminded of the beautiful Autumn colors as we drove to the Brenner Pass. We were leaving Austria and getting ready to enter into South Tirol, which is located in Northern Italy and the colors from the trees and the wild flowers were absolutely heavenly against the mountain backdrop and was so impressive that we stopped at the next rest place just to take in the beauty.
Nature has so much to offer us, if we would only take the time and slow down and become aware of what is going on around us. It helps us to get in tune with ourselves.
I really enjoyed the video. Usually, I cannot access the videos that Peggy displays with her blogs because of the GEMA rights from the controlling organization based here in Germany, but I was able to access this one, and I am so happy I could. It made me want to pack my bags and go back to Italy.

    Ciao,
    Patricia
