Winter’s awakenings have come with the first signs of snow knocking at the door in many parts of the country. The coldest part of the year brings with it short days and long nights, hazardous driving, shoveling driveways/walkways, bundling up from head-to-toe, chills and fever, cozy fireplaces, and so much more BUT not without intermingling wonder, amazement and excitement.

Oh you’re making me envious! It doesn’t snow here and I’m thinking how lucky you’re. Well, you have fun and enjoy winter 🙂
It doesn’t snow where I am either. A friend provided the pictures. I have lived in ‘snow country’ and it can be beautiful as well as torturous!
We’re suppposed to have a really snowy winter here. It’s a bit much after the attack from Hurricane Sandy!! I think we’re all too tired to take aaanymore rough weather.
