In the beginning
It was easy…
To look you in the eye
Sense how much you loved me
Hold you in my arms
Know how much you adored me
The reflection in your eyes
The sound of your voice
The feeling of your touch
Left me no other choice
I knew…you loved me!
Through the years
It never changed…
You always looked me in the eye
Pleading a vow of love for me
Holding me in your arms
Telling me how much you adore me
Love radiated from your eyes
Echoed in your voice
Resonated with your touch
Leaving me no choice
Did you know…I loved you?
From the beginning
It wasn’t easy…
To look you in the eye
Tell you how much I loved you
Hold you in my arms
Tell you how much I adored you
Reflections of the past
Stared hauntingly back at me
Sights, sounds, feelings
Mirrored only misery
You didn’t know…I didn’t tell you
Through the years
It never changed…
I didn’t look you in the eye
Tell you how much I loved you
Hold you in my arms
Let you know how much I adored you
Heartache got in the way
Sometimes I cried
Words I wanted to say
So hard I tried
You didn’t know…Why didn’t I tell you?
Look you in the eye
Tell you I love you, I love you
Hold you in my arms
Tell you I adore you, I adore you
Everything I could never tell you
Remains in my heart to stay
A remembrance of all the words
I could never ever say

Beautiful.
Oh gosh. This made me remember my late uncle. He passed in the night, in his sleep. We didn’t get to say goodbye. And I never let him know how much he meant to me. It was hard to say those words, I love you. I don’t know why. But I loved him dearly.
wow it is very nice…..
