Whiskers and purrs go together like whispers and sighs. They are both soft and soothing in times most unexpected, as well as, when they are much needed. It is that part of catnip which tends to put us into a calm relaxing mode: Where the worries of the day become lost in the daydreams of tomorrow and where the somber shadows of twilight reveal a twinkling night sky.
Listen to the cat’s purr; then, listen to the whispers that wind their way through the caverns of your mind. Let the sounds be like messages in the wind, unveiling nostalgic thoughts like a windswept sigh.

Sharla, this was precious!! I think I told you about my cat who is a doctor. He always knows exactly where I hurt and lays there purring. I read purring is the way cats heal themselves and others and I need all I can get. Love your posts!! Adding to fb and twitter.

this is right. cats are used in France, in some hospitals for old people affected by Alzheimer. And I know that their drone is good for nervous people. Good article
