Have you ever thought about just giving up, throwing in the towel, dumping the whole batch, starting all over again? I suppose at one time or another we have all found ourselves at the bottom of the barrel with no hope of climbing out sinking deeper and deeper or swimming around in circles.
At the end of every rope
Is a single strand called hope
It may be frayed even torn
Yet hangs on for the forlorn
Next time you’re down
Losing your smile to a lonely frown
Remember that strand called hope
Grab on, hold tight , ne’er let go the rope

I’m so agree with ya!
Hi Sharla,
You’re right and I would never give up – but I do have a post coming up about this in about a week, concerning how it would be easy to throw in the towel because of all the added stress of all the holiday preparations along with other things going on, it gets pretty exasperating at times. I’m just venting, ha! There are never enough hours in a day for me and I have to do it all around here, plus trying to work on my new book and freelance assignments. There are deadlines to met, so there are times the whole mess seems hopeless.

Quite inspirational
I’m right with you Sharla, but sometimes it is good to go alone, just during one week. 🙂
Very well said Sharla.

Although very cute I had to give up watching the video a little after half of it had played. The shaking head and camera were making my eyes cross. LOL
Understood! When I first saw it, I was glad it was only a little over a minute:>)
I am so glad i stumbled upon this post today..i needed it the most! yes, i wont give up.
And the lil one is just not giving it up ha?! cutie pie 🙂
I enjoyed your post and loved the poem about hope. When I get discouraged, I find it’s best to step away from whatever is bothering me for a while. When I go back to it, things always seem less dire… at least that has worked so far!
