Cattitude Tip #3

on September 14, 2013

Keep your cat from becoming bored!

Cats learn routines…break all habits!

1- Leave from a different door

2- Do NOT rattle your keys

3- Do NOT drag out a mournful ‘Good Bye

There is one thing, however, that must NEVER be forgotten

Prepare a special treat plate!

If out of cake, let him (her) have the cat treats!

You will have a HAPPY cat!

Meow! Purr-r-r-r-r-r-r. . .

If I left from a different door, it would mean jumping off a balcony lol

So cute! Antoinette, my late Himalayan, loved sweets, cookies, cake, donuts. Once I found her with her head stuck in a fresh box of Nilla wafers–the box was unopened, but she figured it out. Now she’s enjoying sweets by Rainbow Bridge.

    Just keep those treat a’coming!

  5. And when all else fails, read her Jonathan Franzen’s anticat screeds in “Freedom.” Nace and slow, while giving a tummy rub.

My cat, Toby, is in big trouble!! He likes to jump up on me every morning at 7 Am, since he’s decided that his breakfast time. I push him off, he jumps back on until he wins. Because he’s 20 years old he often–too often-scratches me trying to hold on to the bed and I just had to take a cat scratch fever test. And then there’s the constant yowling in my ear. At 7 AM I am not amused.

*giggle* – I only got one door to leave. My keys are in the purse and I never say Good Bye… they’ve got plenty treats to play with – and if not I’ll see when I’m back. *grin*
