Awakenings: If you missed it…

See on Scoop.itAwakenings: America & Beyond

It Matters Radio Halloween Special was a huge success! If you missed the show, go to Awakenings and listen to the show. By the way, my little short story, The Haunting, won first place! Listen, if you dare, to chilling tales by authors, Sharla Shults, Simon, Rogghe, Cynthia Ainesworthe, Phil Richardson, Ingrid Ringler, Danny P. Barbare, Caleb Puckett and Micki Peluso. Also featured is music from the UK by Mark Handley and the Bone Idols.

Listen if you da-r-r-r-r-r-re!

Sharla Shults‘s insight:

Great horror stories are loved every single day of the year! Who says they are limited to only Halloween? Not me!

Awakenings: Happy Halloween!

See on Scoop.itAwakenings: America & Beyond

Halloween: Stories of ghosts, goblins and ghouls monopolize the setting as the movie makers try to outdo one another with scenes of blood and gore. I often wonder how many bottles of ketchup (or similar fake blood) are wasted as Dracula feeds upon his victims, the Werewolf mauls his prey beyond recognition or Freddy Krueger uses a glove armed with razors to kill his victims in their dreams.

Sharla Shults‘s insight:

What are your fondest memories of Halloween – laughter or shivers? Who did you profess to be?

Awakenings: Monsters: Laughter or Shivers?

With Halloween approaching, stories of ghosts, goblins and ghouls monopolize the setting as the movie makers try to outdo one another with scenes of blood and gore.

A Step Back in Time

Awakening a few cobwebs with pictures from a night in the 80s. Oh, such a night! What a night it was, what a night it really was! What are your fondest memories of Halloween – laughter or shivers? Who did you profess to be? (Don’t answer these until you have visited Awakenings!)
