Sunday Savorings

on September 9, 2012

I had not planned on posting any catnip today but in cleaning out some clutter on my computer desktop, I happened across a document where I had saved some links for future reference. I have probably opened this document hundreds of times but just had not reflected back on the words or why they had been saved.

Warm wishes and hugs to everyone on this blessed Sunday! Take five, kick back, put your feet up, watch the video and become enraptured in the beautiful music. . .

Do you recognize the artist of the music?

What are your reflections on the butterfly? Any special moments?

Video on butterflies is beautiful and the music too. But who is the artist? I do not know. Can you tell me?
Where are the butterflies, the biotope is reached. They are a good indicator.
Have a good afternoon Sharla 🙂

  2. Enya reminds me of a butterfly. Her music is expressed freely as a butterfly looks. With her emotions and you can feel it. I love listening to her music for it clears my mind and frees any negative thoughts. Nice post and glad I ran across it.

  3. I am so glad you posted this even if I cant get vid to play I love butterflies.

I must admit I had to look at the name of the artist even though I own & love every album Enya has released.

I am a photographer and although I love butterflies. I found the images themselves lacking in a number of areas. The composition on some was poor, most were out of focus and some were noisy(grainy). I’ve seen a lot better examples posted on the photographic forums I frequent daily. Still, I’ll bet the combination of the slide show and good music presented an appealing package to most. – Bob

I wish I had time to delve more into photography for I really love it. I do have a small digital camera that I dabble with on occasion. Marilyn has been a great help with the clarity of my own. Thank you for your visit and comments! Look forward to next time. . .

  5. All I can say is the butterflies are an example of beautiful art in nature. Hmmm. If this is art, there must be an artist. Imagine that.
    Loved it.

  6. Oh Sharla, what a gift your post is – the music, the butterflies… one marvel after another… you could almost feel their exquisite butterfly consciousness. Yes, what a Creator indeed.

  7. Savoring on a Monday morning. This reflection is beautiful. I reread some quotes about butterflies on previous pages and realized this summer I fell in love with butterflies. While hiking in Shenandoah National Park butterflies fluttered around me. Last year, in Key West, I visited the Butterfly Museum…fantastic. Why butterflies? Why have they captured me. The butterfly lives in the moment. Thus I have been trying to learn to live in the moment…I’m a planner, scheduler, goal-oriented person who forgets to live in the moment. Thank you for the butterfly reflections.

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit and leaving such wonderful comments! You are right about the butterfly living in the moment. One of my favorite quotes, which I have posted on catnip previously, is. . .

“The butterfly counts not months but moments, and has time enough.” Rabindranath Tagore
